Bayer says it discovered a catalyst to convert CO2 to components that can be used in the production of polyurethanes.
Using CO2 as a resource, would be a big step forward in sustainable development.

Haarlem in Scotland
Last month, in Scotland, we visited two musea with paintings. Both in Edinburgh and in Glasgow we encountered a painting of St-Bavo in Haarlem, which we remember so well for Bert.

US IQ survey
News emerged yesterday of preliminary results from the US government investigation that analysed sudden acceleration in Toyotas and Lexuses following almost 2,200 incidents.
The report, seen by The Wall Street Journal, said: "The early results suggest that some drivers who said their Toyotas and Lexuses surged out of control were mistakenly flooring the accelerator when they intended to jam on the brakes."
