photosynthesis enhanced through genetical engineering
Genetical engineers have enhanced the efficiency of the photosynthesis process by 40% in genetically engineered tobacco plants. The process corrects a fault in the process, involving the RuBisCo enzyme, that happens in about 20% of the reactions. This fault is present in most plants that do photosynthesis.
